Apple announces that it will stop signing iOS 14.6

After the iOS 14.7 version was released last week, Apple has stopped signing iOS 14.6. In other words, if you have already installed or upgraded to iOS 14.7/14.7.1, you cannot downgrade to iOS 14.6 now. This version was released in May of this year and introduced including iPhone unlocking Apple Watch, Apple Maps accident user report, Apple Card family sharing, AirTag improvements, and more.

iOS 14.7 is an update that replaces iOS 14.6, adds support for MagSafe battery packs, and introduces many bug fixes. Apple also released iOS 14.7.1 today, which is a minor update that includes a critical security fix and a bug fix that may prevent the Touch ID iPhone from unlocking the connected Apple Watch.
