Report: Apple’s latest M1X MacBook Pro will arrive in a few weeks

Although Apple’s California Call conference may not have the opportunity to showcase the new MacBook Pro models with M1X chips, there are reports that orders may be opened within a few weeks after the event.

It was reported a few weeks ago that the expected 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro experienced production delays, and then the problem appeared to be resolved, and it is said that the launch of the new model will begin soon.

In Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter on Sunday, Mark Gurman said that the M1X MacBook Pro model should be available in the next few weeks. Although Apple is likely to use special events to launch updated models, Gurman did not directly say that they will appear at the press conference, but that they are scheduled to be released in the fall.

As for the specifications of the new models, Gurman said that they will use the higher-end M1 chip, MagSafe magnetic charging returns, and there will be no TouchBar that has always been considered a tasteless TouchBar. As previously rumored, they will include mini-LED backlit displays, bringing high contrast and improved color performance.

In addition to MacBook Pro, Apple is expected to launch a series of products this fall, including iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3 and the new iPad.
