Epic Games to create a new studio in Poland to create unique gaming experiences

Epic recently announced on its official website that the team will create a new game studio in Poland that will focus on creating original indie game experiences that push the boundaries of graphics and game development.

The work was led by a small team that joined Epic from Plastic, the studio behind games like Bound, Datura, and Linger In Shadows. They will work closely with Epic Games’ publishing team to help the studio bring their creative ideas to players around the world.

Michal Staniszewski, Studio Director at Epic Games, said the team is very proud to lead Epic’s development in Poland. Poland is a growth center for top engine talent, and the team needs to create amazing new gaming experiences for players around the world.

Hector Sanchez, head of publishing at Epic Games, said the Plastic team has been working on some of the most ambitious and futuristic projects in the past 20+ years. They’re an incredible bunch of geniuses who create style-defining experiences, stand at the forefront of technological advancement, and push hardware to its limits in a way that’s consummately artistic. I am very happy that they have joined the team and will support their development at Epic.

Epic Games is currently growing rapidly in the region and is hiring for positions such as technical engineers, animators and producers.
