Tesla recalls a large number of Model 3 due to the risk of blindness in the reversing camera

If the wear causes the inner core of the coaxial cable to separate, it may cause the reversing image to fail to work properly. This recall applies to some imported Model 3s from October 4, 2018, to November 20, 2019, and some domestic Model 3s with production dates from October 14, 2019, to December 27, 2020.

At present, many car owners have received Tesla’s recall notification information. However, due to the large number of models involved in this recall, the official did not give a specific recall time but asked the affected car owners to wait for the service personnel to take the initiative to contact them. Schedule an inspection and repair.

The actual domestic recall was issued at the end of last year. According to Tesla’s documents submitted to the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA), a total of 356,309 Model 3s were recalled worldwide. It should be noted that the 2021 Model 3 is not included in this recall due to the use of a different material for the trunk wiring harness design.
