Xiaomi updates Mi Fit with a new home

In addition to the Wear application, Xiaomi also uses Mi Fit, an app that has become iconic for all owners of the famous smart bands of Lei Jun’s home. The new update is already available for download via the Google Play Store and brings with it a slight change of direction as regards the graphic style.

For those who need to refresh their memory, Xiaomi’s Mi Fit app allows you to connect your wearable to your smartphone but also offers much more. In fact, it is possible to view the various parameters of both training and measurements of heart activity, sleep and so on.

Despite its importance, it has not been a restyle for some time, but now the new update changes things slightly: Mi Fit switches to version 5.6.0 and introduces a redesigned home screen. Up to now, opening the app you accessed a screen consisting of three elements (entering directly into the functionality) while now a new home has been added which represents a brief overview of the various measurements. At the top left is the wearable battery indicator.

By default, the home shows six tabs (for steps, sleep, heart activity, PAI and others); however, the order of the tabs can be changed via the settings. These can also be removed or the user can add new ones. The new update for Mi Fit 5.6.0 is available for download via the Play Store: we leave you with a dedicated page to download the app.
