Android 13 eligible device list for OPPO

Not so long after Android version 12, Google has started working on the next version Android 13 Tiramisu and it is currently in the beta stage. It is going to take some time for OEMs such as OPPO, Samsung, Xiaomi and so on to follow as it has been so in the past as well, but the good news is, OPPO has already made us promises about this new update for its devices.

In the scope of this promise, devices to be updated to Android 13 as known as Tiramisu are:

  • Find X series: to get 3 main Android updates and 4 years of security updates
  • Reno series: to get 2 main Android updates and 4 years of security updates
  • F series: to get 2 main Android updates and 4 years of security updates
  • A series: to get 1 main Android update and 3 years of security updates for specific models

This promise does not cover devices that were released before 2019 however some old models are said to get security updates. Even though the company does not make a promise for devices older than 2019, that of course doesn’t necessarily mean none of them will get the update so, fingers crossed!
