The tweet states that the iPhone SE will add a new 256GB storage option in addition to the existing 64GB and 128GB storage options, and clarifies that the iPhone SE’s 5G capabilities will include mmWave and sub-6GHz connectivity, which was previously unavailable confirmed. The special mention of the A15 Bionic chip also seems to eliminate the uncertainty about the rumors that the next iPhone SE may use the A14 Bionic chip.

Additionally, the tweet confirms that the iPhone SE will continue to come in the white, black, and red colors that the current model offers, with no new color options available. In anticipation of this tweet, the camera upgrade details were noticeably absent. The tweet also added that mass production of the new iPhone SE begins this month and that Apple expects to ship 25 million to 30 million units this year.

Ming-Chi Kuo often gives accurate insights into Apple’s plans, often sharing his information in official notes to investors that he has never shared on Twitter before. It is currently impossible to confirm that the @mingchikuo account belongs to Ming-Chi Kuo. Apple is widely expected to unveil the third-generation iPhone SE at its “Peak Performance” event on March 8.
