Elden Ring may have DLC for 1v1 duels

A hidden Colosseum in Elden Ring could hint at a future competitive multiplayer DLC for the game. Player Lance McDonald stepped out of the boundaries of a large, inaccessible arena in the game by using a mod tool, and he discovered a full multiplayer arena, which has led to much speculation that it will be launched as part of the DLC.

In the Elden Ring, approach the area outside the arena and it will spawn a hostile invader that will mimic the behavior of being invaded by another player, as soon as the first time it happens it is controlled by the AI.

This also points to speculation that the arena will be used for competitive 1v1 duels, which is not currently available in Elden Ring, but has appeared in previous Souls games.

While the Elden Ring DLC (if any) has yet to be announced, the post-launch massive expansion is already a staple of FromSoftware’s Souls franchise. Considering the open-world mode of the Elden Ring, there’s a good chance there are more areas like the Colosseum that have yet to be discovered.

In fact, there is a similar Colosseum elsewhere on the Elden Ring map, guarded by a large pot. The jar has a small quest, but even if you complete it, the Colosseum won’t open. This quest again involves fighting to invade AI, so we believe these arenas will appear in the future as well.
