According to the latest report, Tesla changed its long-standing policy, no longer equipped every car with a mobile charging cable. Instead, Tesla began selling Class 1 and Level 2 charging cables separately on its official website.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Tesla believes that the usage of mobile charging lines is too low to justify the need to provide cables every time a new car is delivered:
Usage statistics are very low, so it looks wasteful. on the plus side, we will add more plug adapters to the mobile charging cable kit. The two charging cables on Tesla’s official website are priced at $275 and $400, but they are currently out of stock.
So, for new tesla owners, they will have to look elsewhere for alternatives. the charging cable allows users to charge Tesla cars using any socket around them, and although the power is not high, it is necessary for emergencies.
