Google does not rest and immediately releases Android 13 Beta 3.1

A few days after the release of Android 13 Beta 3 for the Google developer team, the time has already come to kick off the rollout of a new release of the next mobile operating system of the Mountain View giant: we are talking about Android 13 Beta 3.1.

It often happens that the Google developer team releases an X.1 update only in this case it happened quite quickly and, what a little more unusual, with the resolution of only one bug.

The new version restores the Android Beta Feedback app, which should have been included in the initial Beta 3 version but which, for some reason, was not. These incremental updates to introduce the most important bug fixes are not unusual and many versions of Android get them and it is only the shortened timeline to a few days that arouse some curiosity.

Moreover, if we consider that Android 13 Beta 3 did not include a mechanism to allow users to give their feedback (i.e. a fundamental feature to evaluate the quality of a beta release and the possible presence of relevant bugs), we understand the willingness of the developer team of the Mountain View giant to release a corrective update as soon as possible.

This change is the only one mentioned by Google in the official changelog but, obviously, it is not possible to exclude that there are also other “hidden” innovations (even if, in this case, it will probably be only small changes).

The OTA update has a “weight” of about 6 MB, brings the software to version TPB3.220513.017.B1 and is already being implemented for the Google Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The OTA images are already available on the official website:
