GTA 6 development is getting better, Rockstar announces 300 new jobs this month

The next GTA game is still shrouded in mystery. However, its development may be picking up pace. This month alone, Rockstar has posted hundreds of new jobs covering nearly every category related to game development. As spotted by PCGamesN, Rockstar has posted 70 new job listings in the past 24 hours.

According to the company’s LinkedIn page, there are now 307 vacancies available, the vast majority of which were posted in July, showing how hungry it is for talent. As a multinational company, Rockstar is now recruiting in various locations, including Toronto, San Diego, New York, London and Edinburgh. The latter is the headquarters of Rockstar North, home to the studios responsible for major games, especially GTA.

The list of open jobs on the company’s official website includes artists, game designers, product managers, engineers, testers, animators, level designers, motion capture developers, and dialogue writers.

None of these posts specifically mention GTA 6, though. However, words like “cutting-edge physics”, “massive open world” and “believable vehicle mechanics” suggest that the company is now increasing its staff precisely to work on new games in its main series. In February, Rockstar confirmed that development on GTA 6 is “well underway.” However, aside from numerous rumors, no details are known about the game.
