According to the latest reports, Google’s Stadia cloud gaming platform added a new feature on November 6th, allowing players to join each other’s games without being invited by friends. This feature currently only supports some games, but it can still significantly improve the experience of multiplayer games.
Previously Xbox and PlayStation players are already very familiar with this feature. For example, Fortnite players can join a friend’s game without an invitation. This update of the Stadia cloud gaming platform has further narrowed the gap between cloud gaming and console gaming.

If players want to use the new features, they need the other player to enter the Your Activity setting, turn on the Current Game, and enable the feature to join the current game. If the player does not want friends to join casually, you can manually turn off this feature.
