The first reviews for the Pixel Tablet have started to appear online, and many of them show off the updated weather page interface we saw earlier. A close look at the materials reveals that in addition to the updated UI, the weather shortcut icon has also been updated. And yes, it’s still part of the Google Search app.
In addition, a video review from 9to5Google notes that the froggy drawings showing current weather conditions now have a bit of animation (such as floating clouds and sun glare).
Apparently, the Pixel Tablet samples provided for review come with a special version of the Google Search app, which includes an updated weather page UI.
